An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) Cross Country Cruise, the 1934 Edward Buzzell romantic mystery comedy melodrama ("A great screen novelty -- thrilling melodrama staged aboard an overland bus...") starring Lew Ayres, June Knight, Alice White, Alan Dinehart, Minna Gombell, and Eugene Pallette. Note that June Knight was a striking blonde who appeared in 12 movies between 1930 and 1940, two of them in uncredited roles. Perhaps she had bad luck, but her movies were very forgettable, and she is completely forgotten today. If anyone knows more about her or what happened to her career, please e-mail us and we will post it here. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline).
