A Folded Czech Advertising Poster (measures 24 3/4" x 37 1/2" [63 x 95 cm]) (Learn More)

Zajeci Prasek (literally translates to "Rabbit Powder"), the 1920s Czechoslovakian advertising poster promoting Zajeci Prasek, and featuring art of a Gugelhupf cake (a light, yeasted marble cake, traditionally baked in a distinctive circular Bundt mold). Note that this poster is promoting a light baking powder from Eduard Haas III (Haas translates to "rabbit" in Dutch and "rabbit" in Czech is Zajeci), who is better know as the creator of PEZ candy! A knowledgeable collector showed us a Haas German-language cookbook featuring the same "Hasin" powder bag as seen on this poster (but it had "Haas" instead of "Zajeci")

Important Added Info: Note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.

Condition: very good. The poster was folded down the middle at one time. It has a 4" horizontal tear near the center of the poster and some small tears around the edges.
