An Unfolded East German Travel Poster (measures 23 1/4" x 32 3/4" [59 x 83 cm]) (Learn More)

Deutsche Lufthansa (literally translates to "German Lufthansa"), the 1959 East German airplane airline aviation travel poster (with a tagline that translates to "Flies to Berlin!") encouraging people to use Lufthansa when traveling to East Berlin, and featuring artwork of a bear riding on an airplane displaying the East German flag, with the Brandenburg Gate below. Note that between 1955 and 1963, the East German national airline Lufthansa operated under the same name as the West German airline, but it lost a lawsuit and was replaced by Interflug.

Condition: very good. The poster was never folded. It has some creases around the edges and a tiny tear at lower center. It is otherwise in pretty nice condition!
