An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Insert Movie Poster (measures 14" x 36") (Learn More) White Heat, the classic 1949 Raoul Walsh romantic love triangle crime film noir ("James Cagney in His New Hit from Warner Bros."; "James Cagney is red hot in 'White Heat'"; "His New Hit from Warner Bros."; "Screen Play by Ivan Goff and Ben Roberts"; "Suggested by a Story by Virginia Kellogg"; about a psychotic killer who has frequent crippling headaches and although married, has an unnatural closeness to his aged mother) starring James Cagney (in one of his most memorable roles as Cody Jarrett; "in his new Warner hit"), Virginia Mayo (as Verna), Edmond O'Brien, Steve Cochran (as Big Ed), Fred Clark, Margaret Wycherly (unforgettable as the mother, Ma Jarrett, who really really loved her son, in her most memorable role!), John Archer, and Jim Thorpe (the legendary athlete in a cameo role!) Important Added Info: Note that this poster was machine folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good. The entire poster has many extra horizontal creases, and they are spaced less than 1" apart in the top and bottom 8" of the poster (it appears someone tightly rolled the poster at one time). Someone put a 2" wide piece of cloth tape on the back of the top and bottom borders, where there were many creases, but that seems to have caused the poster to "dry out" in those areas. If I owned this great poster, I would certainly give it to a talented restorer. After proper paperbacking, the poster will look great, and there will likely be only a small amount of paint restoration anywhere in the image area! Learn More about condition grades
