An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Episode 4 English Three-Sheet Movie Poster (3sh; measures approximately 41" x 85") (Learn More) Fight in the Thieve's Kitchen, the 1921 Edward Gordon English England London Scotland Yard silent detective crime mystery short (Episode 4 of "Secrets of Scotland Yard"; "Tales from the life of a great detective"; "This is a bang, bang, bang story - a tit-bit in unockabout and sensation - Haigh 'became one of them' and almost lost his life - when he discloses how he won through you will laugh for there is much humor, even in a detectives career"; "Fifteen big human stories told by a man who spent thirty years in the service") starring Ernest Haigh, Geoffrey Benstead, Suzanne Morris, and Charles Danvers. It seems quite likely that this was actually a series of movies rather than a serial in the sense that a serial is known as today. Each of the movies were part of the series entitled "Tales of the Life of a Great Detective", also known as "Secrets of Scotland Yard", and likely had the same lead character, but with different supporting characters in each movie. There is little known about many of the individual episodes of many of these "series" of late 1910s and early 1920s movies. The poster is extremely fragile and is in urgent need of expert professional restoration (but certainly, after it is properly linenbacked, the poster will look great, and there will not be a lot of paint restoration required in the image).
