Date Sold 12/21/2021Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) Companionate Marriage, the 1928 Erle C. Kenton romantic marital wedding melodrama ("Vital! Different! Daring!"; "By Judge Ben B. Lindsey and Wainwright Evans"; about two couples, one of whom gets married after a drunken night together, but they are unhappy, and after the birth of a baby, the wife commits suicide; her sister then takes the baby and has a "loveless marriage" of convenience so that the baby will have parents, but that couple grows to love each other) starring Betty Bronson, Alec B. Francis, William Welsh, Edward Martindel and Sarah Padden. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: good to very good. Learn More about condition grades
