An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) Television Spy, the 1939 Edward Dmytryk science fiction (sci-fi) spy espionage crime thriller ("The thrills of science's newest miracle... packed into the year's most sensational action drama!"; "Paramount's new mile-a-minute, up-to-the-minute thrill-film!"; about a scientist who invents a television device called the Iconoscope, which spies find out about and want to steal it) starring William Henry, Judith Barrett, William Collier Sr., Anthony Quinn and Richard Denning. Note that the six-sheet for this movie has a tagline that refers to television as "science's newest miracle", but we doubt if 1939 scientists could ever have anticipated how much television would eventually become a part of everyday life! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: very good. Learn More about condition grades
