If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that in the 1930s and 1940s, movie studios made silk burgees (also called silk banners) for most major releases. These were printed on a silk (or silk-like) material, with a blue fringe at the bottom, and usually with an opening at the top through which a wooden pole could be inserted, usually with a rope attached to both ends of the pole, so that the burgee could be hung from a nail at the theater. Few silk burgees are known to survive, and many collectors are not even aware of their existence! Condition: good to very good. The banner once had a wooden pole that was inserted at the top, but that is missing (although a replacement could easily be made). There are a couple of tiny circular holes in the background area above the rating and a few scattered faint stains. There are many creases where the banner was stored folded for many years, but it could likely be flattened or ironed. Learn More about condition grades
