The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and small tears and tiny paper loss scattered on the bottom horizontal fold, with a lesser amount of wear on the other folds. It had some tears and paper loss in the blank borders, with two tears in the top border that extended into the background. It had creases and scuffs in the bottom solid black areas. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. Many years ago, someone mounted the poster onto thin linen with very little restoration. It was in a framed and something caused the back of the thin linen to become stained, and also the upper right border of the excess linen. If I owned this really great poster, I would immediately have it removed from the old thin linen and properly re-backed. Afterwards, it will display wonderfully and likely require very little paint restoration. Learn More about condition grades
