An Unfolded German Advertising Poster (measures 33" x 47 1/4" [84 x 120 cm]) (Learn More) Karnevalskostume (literally translates to "Carnival Costumes"), the 1929 German advertising poster promoting the purchase (or rental) of costumes from F. und A. Diringer which could be used in one of the carnivals held in Munich, Germany. Diringer (which was founded in 1876) had Germany's largest stock of rental costumes. In a 1910 catalog they claimed to have "60,000 complete costumes" and the Munich film industry borrowed heavily from them. Note that this poster features Allman art of a partygoer in a harlequin costume with a huge cape. Artist: Allman Condition: good to very good. There is tape on the back of the right border, which has darkened the front. There are five small tape stains in the rest of the borders, and a few small tears in the bottom border.
