An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) Chasing Trouble, the 1940 Howard Bretherton espionage spy mystery crime comedy ("story and screenplay by Mary McCarthy"; about the delivery boy for a flower shop who discovers his boss is mixed up with spies) starring Frankie Darro, Marjorie Reynolds, Mantan Moreland, Milburn Stone, Cheryl Walker, and George Cleveland. Note that this movie was based on a story by Mary McCarthy. That IS the same woman who, in 1963, wrote the novel "The Group" which was turned into a hit movie in 1966, and it is also this same woman who had a celebrated feud with author Liliian Hellman. This movie was based on the only one of her stories that was turned into a movie other than "The Group". NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: very good. Learn More about condition grades
