Date Sold 1/9/2014 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. 2 1967 Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Cards (LCs; measure 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Amok (released in the U.S. in 1967 as "Savage Girls" and in other English-speaking countries as "The Rape"), the 1963 Dinos Dimopoulos Greek women in prison sexploitation movie ("Ten girl convicts damned to a hell's island of lust and brutality"; "What happens on this island you have never seen before") starring Floretta Zana, Lefteris Vournas, Anna Veneti, Takis Emmanuel, and Zeta Apostolou Important Added Info: Note that many exhibitors of low-budget exploitation movies would make a set of lobby cards that consisted of a stock lobby card with an inset area that was 8" x 10" and glue eight different 8x10s on to eight stock lobby cards, thus inexpensively creating an 8 card set. Also note that the back of this card was overprinted with a solid rectangular pattern. This was commonly done so that old lobby cards could be re-used as "frames" for 8x10 stills. This IS an original lobby card. Finally note that these stills are printed on Kodak paper, but we believe them to surely be original stills. Sometimes, studios would run out of stills and have extras printed on different stock. Condition: good. There is printing on back as noted above that slightly bleeds through to the front. The 8x10 stills are no longer attached to the lobby cards. The still pictured in the bottom set has pairs of staple holes around the edges and some faint creases, and the still pictured at top has many scuffs and the name of the movie written in the bottom edge.
