An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) The Show-Off (also released as "The Show Off"), the 1926 Malcom St. Clair silent poor-man-posing-as-a-wealthy-executive screwball comedy ("From the play by George Kelly") starring Lois Wilson, Ford Sterling, Louise Brooks, Gregory Kelly, and Claire McDowell. Note that the IMDb lists this movie as being called "The Show Off", but the one-sheet calls it "The Show-Off" (and some of the other items have the hyphen, and some do not), so we are listing the title both ways so that people searching for either one will not miss it. Note that this movie was remade in sound in 1930 as Men Are Like That. Note that although Louise Brooks was billed third, she was not pictured on the one-sheet, and we don't know what posters, if any, she was pictured on. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this is a very early Louise Brooks title, and although she is billed on this poster, she is not pictured in the image. Also note that this is an extremely rare poster. We have only auctioned one in all our years of auctioning and that was 11 years ago (but that poster was linenbacked but this one is NOT!). Note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good. The poster had separation in the top border of the vertical fold and in the right half of the top fold and someone put much tape on the back of those areas and the tape bleeds through to the front. There are some light water stains around the edges and a v-shaped tear in the lower right background area, but otherwise the poster is in pretty nice condition (see our image).
