An Original Vintage Film Reel (measures 2" x 15" x 15" [5 x 38 x 38 cm]) (Learn More)

a "house reel" film reel that could be used in theaters to display movies. This reel could hold 2000 feet of 35mm film which would equal 20 minutes. Transport film reels were lighter and tended to pick up "dings" which made the sturdier house reels easier to run in the projectors. The house reels were often known as "Goldbergs" by projectionists because Goldberg Brothers was a major manufacturer of the reels up until 1977.

Condition: very good. The reel has some light, general wear but overall it is in pretty nice condition!
