eMoviePoster.comAuction History Result SO THIS IS MARRIAGE 1sh D Appears in Hershenson Pressbook CollectionThe image at right is provided for reference purposes and we do not we have it available for purchase, nor do we know of anyone who does! So This is Marriage!, the 1924 Hobart Henley silent romantic wedding newlywed melodrama ("Including the sensational Babylonian spectacle in natural colors!") starring Eleanor Boardman, Conrad Nagel, Lew Cody, Clyde Cook, Warner Oland (as King David), John Boles (as Uriah; in his second movie!), and Mabel Julienne Scott (as Bathsheba, in the movie called "Bath-Sheba"). Note that this movie had a very early two-color Technicolor sequence, which was 729 feet long, and it showed a Biblical scene of David and Bathsheba, which possibly contained brief nudity! If so, this would have been the first time there was nudity in a Hollywood production (and they made a big deal of this color sequence on the advertising). If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
