Artist: Jack Davis Important Added Info: Note that this poster has been personally autographed (signed) by Jack Davis (it is a 1969 poster that Davis signed in 1976)! Our consignor is a longtime collector who purchased this signed item from a reputable dealer. He does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we believe the signature to likely be authentic. Also note that we have only previously auctioned two examples of this poster, and only one in the last 18 years! What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster was never folded. It had some creases and scuffs around the edges, with scuffs in the pointing hands at right. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. After the poster was backed, it was framed and acquired stains in parts of the excess linen, but not affecting the poster. Learn More about condition grades
