A 1975 Re-release Vintage Theatrical Folded Style B One-Sheet Movie Poster (Span/US 1sh; printed in Spanish in the U.S. for Spanish-speaking audiences; measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) James Bond 007 Film Festival, the 1975 poster advertising a James Bond 007 Film Festival release. We would think that different posters were printed for each of the movies included in this festival (with each poster having the same image, but a different James Bond title at the bottom or a blank area where a snipe could be added or the title could be written in). However, the only posters for this "film festival" that have surfaced are a 1975 poster with "Thunderball" printed in the bottom, and a 1976 poster (with a completely different image) with "Live and Let Die" printed in the top left, which seems very curious. We don't understand why we would have encountered so many examples of the two posters with only the two titles, although it may just be that we haven't seen any others yet. Note that the artwork from the circle in the center of the style A poster was taken from the 1970 "Viva James Bond!" film festival. If anyone knows more about this film festival, please e-mail us and we will post it here. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: This particular poster is for Ian Fleming's Diamonds Are Forever, the 1971 Guy Hamilton English James Bond 007 secret agent spy espionage fantasy action adventure thriller ("Diamonds are Forever Forever Forever Forever"; based on the Ian Fleming novel) starring Sean Connery, Jill St. John ("as Tiffany Case"), Charles Gray, Lana Wood (billed as "also starring Lana Wood as Plenty O'Toole"), Jimmy Dean, and Bruce Cabot Also note that this poster was printed in the United States for use at theaters with Spanish speaking audiences (this was done most by MGM, starting in the 1930s, but it was done by the other major studios as well, and often the posters would have the exact same image as the English language poster, except the writing would be in Spanish, and often there would be an added "Toda en Espanol!", meaning "Entirely in Spanish!", printed within the image). Condition: fair. There is a title snipe across the bottom of the poster. There are creases and scuffs and tack holes throughout the poster. There are a few areas of surface paper loss and pieces of clear tape scattered throughout the poster. Learn More about condition grades
