An Original Vintage Folded World War II Poster (measures 28 1/2" x 37 1/4" [72 x 95 cm]) (Learn More)

Award for Careless Talk, the 1944 U.S. World War II (WWII) Home Front poster ("Don't discuss troop movements - ship sailings - war equipment") encouraging citizens to safeguard sensitive war information, and featuring Stevan Dohanos art of a Nazi hand wearing a swastika ring and holding an Iron Cross medal. Obviously, the point was that a person carelessly discussing war information was in essence a collaborator with Nazi Germany just as much as a Nazi soldier was, and that "loose lips" could result in Germans winning the highest awards, which is certainly "heavy handed", but it REALLY gets the point across!

Important Added Info: Note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.

Condition: very good. The poster has some very minor fold and border wear and a few faint smudges in the solid background area. Overall it has survived in nice condition.
