An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded German "A1" Movie Poster (measures 23 3/4" x 33 1/2" [60 x 85 cm]) (Learn More) Sympathy for the Devil (released in other English-speaking countries as "One Plus One"), the 1968 (premiered in the U.S. in April 1969, and widely distributed in the U.S. in 1970) Jean-Luc Godard English rock 'n' roll (rock and roll) blues music documentary (about counter-culture in the late 1960s) featuring the Rolling Stones (Mick Jagger, Brian Jones, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts, Bill Wyman), Anne Wiazemsky, Iain Quarrier, Clifton Jones, and Danny Daniels. Note that the producers of this film deleted 11 minutes, added footage of the Rolling Stones performing the title song, and changed the title (from One Plus One) without telling Godard. When Godard discovered this, he punched a producer during a talk at London's National Film Theatre. We have also found reference on the Internet to the U.S. distributor of the movie further changing it prior to its U.S. release in 1969, but we are not certain if this is correct.
