Gasnier crime thriller ("Wanted! for a crime he didn't commit"; based on the play 'The Quarry' by Max Marcin and the novel of the same name by John A. Moroso; a wild story of a man who has a woman break into his apartment chased by her drunken boyfriend, and he tries to help the woman, and the drunk falls out a window, and dies, and the man gets convicted of the drunk's murder; he is sentenced to life in prison, but he escapes, and he becomes a respected member of the community, but someone who discovers his identity blackmails him!) starring William Powell, Marion Shilling, Natalie Moorhead, Regis Toomey, Paul Hurst, and George Irving. Note that this movie bears a large similarity to "I Am a Fugitive From a Chain Gang", which was made three years later, but that movie was based on a real incident, and this movie was based on a novel that was turned into a play. Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: very good. There are a few tiny creases and very tiny tears in the left half of the top blank border. There is a small horizontal crease below the eye of the man at left, but it is not very noticeable or distracting. Otherwise, the card is in nice condition.
