Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster originally had a blank top that was neatly trimmed off (this is commonly done with Belgian posters, similar to how the blank top is trimmed off of U.S. window cards). The poster was folded across the middle and had creases and scuffs along that fold and some scattered throughout the image. There were pinholes and tears around the edges with paper loss in the bottom left blank corner. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above. Learn More about condition grades
