Swissair was one of the major international airlines and known as the "Flying Bank" due to it financial stability, causing it to be regarded as a Swiss national symbol. However, burdened by over-expansion as a result of the controversial "Hunter Strategy" in the late 1990s and after the economic downturn following the September 11 attacks, Swissair's assets dramatically lost value, and they ceased operations in 2002. Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster was never folded. It had small paper loss in the bottom of the second "S" of the title. It had some creases and scuffs scattered in the image, with a few tape stains and tears around the edges. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking.
