Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair to good. The poster had small paper loss at some crossfolds and some creases, tears, and tiny paper loss on many parts of some folds. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. After the poster was backed, it was both roughly handled and acquired some scattered small stains on the back of the linen, and some creases in the bottom 8" of the poster. One could either live with the above defects or have additional restoration performed, either with or without re-backing the poster. Please bear all of this in mind before bidding on this poster.
