Date Sold 1/16/2024 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. 5 Original Vintage Theatrical Paperbacked Movie Lobby Cards (LCs; measure 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) The Way of the West, the 1934 Robert Emmett Tansey cowboy western ("A Rough Rider western"; about a Montana town where cattlemen are trying to run settlers off, and a stranger arrives in town and is hired by one of the families to help them against the cattlemen, and he does, and falls in love with one of the pretty settlers, and it turns out that he was actually a government agent working undercover) starring William Desmond, Hal Taliaferro (billed as "Wally Wales"), Art Mix, Bill Patten, Bobby Nelson, Myrla Bratton, and James Sheridan. Note that the plot of this movie is extremely similar to that of the classic western "Shane", and one wonders if the author of the source novel that Shane was based on saw this movie before writing his book!
