An Original Vintage 7" x 9" (8x10) Television Still (Learn More)

What's My Line?, the classic 1950 - 1967 Paul Alter comedy game show television (TV) series starring John Charles Daly (as the moderator), Arlene Francis, Bennett Cerf, Dorothy Kilgallen, and Johnny Olson (as the announcer). Note that this show began in 1950 with John Charles Daly (who had been a major TV news anchor) as the moderator, and Dorothy Kilgallen was one of the four guests. Over the next year, they varied the lineup, but before too long, they settled on the above three mostly "permanent" panelists, plus Steve Allen. When Steve Allen left in 1954 to host The Tonight Show, he was replaced by comedian Fred Allen (no relation). After Fred Allen passed away in 1956, he was not replaced, and they began having a "guest panelist" each week. Dorothy Kilgallen died in 1965, and she was not replaced either, and for the final two years of the show's initial run, it had two guests along with Bennett Cerf and Arlene Francis. There were also later incarnations of the show, hosted by Wally Bruner and Larry Blyden, but they were not the same without John Charles Daly!
Important Added Info: Note that this TV still measures 7" x 9" [18 x 23 cm].

Condition: very good to fine.
