Wellman Australia romantic love triangle mistaken identity musical comedy ("Great Romance Rides The World Again... With love in the arms of danger!"; "Recklessly daring... Made loving... The stars of immortal 'Cimarron' unite in another glorious romance born from E.W. Hornugs's vivid tales of swashbuckling outlaw on earths far frontier"; "The stars of immortal 'Cimarron' united again"; "Based on stories by E.W. Hornug"; set in the Australian Outback in the 1870s, the principals of the movie are a famed outlaw named Stingaree, a London composer who is arriving for a visit, and the maid of a wealthy family who just happens to be an incredible singer; the story starts out with the outlaw kidnapping the composer, but then when he hears the maid singing, he falls for her and pretends to be the composer, and offers her singing lessons, and of course, they fall in love, and the plot gets even more preposterous!) starring Irene Dunne, Richard Dix (in the title role as Stingaree), Mary Boland, Conway Tearle, Andy Devine, Henry Stephenson, and Una O'Connor NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: very good. The theater that used this slide wrote the days the movie was playing in the play dates section at the bottom of the glass. Otherwise, the cardboard holder has staining around the staples, but the glass slide itself is in pretty nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
