Uncanny Tales, the 1952 to 1956 Atlas Comics (the precursor of Marvel Comics) pre-code science fiction (sci-fi) horror anthology comic book series. Note that there was also a Marvel Comics series published from 1973 to 1975 which consisted entirely of reprints from the 1952 Uncanny Tales series and several other Atlas and Marvel titles, which were edited by Stan Lee. Unlike the EC science fiction and horror comics, it survived the introduction of the Comics Code, but not for very long, because it ceased publication in 1956.
