eMoviePoster.comAuction History Result FAIR WARNING ('31) 1sheet Appears in Cowboy Movie PostersBOOK SOLD OUT The image at right appears in the book we published as shown above. While we once owned this item, we did not auction it through eMoviePoster.com (which is why no price or date is listed) nor do we have it available for purchase. Fair Warning, the 1931 Alfred L. Werker romantic cowboy western melodrama ("Story by Max Brand"; from the Max Brand novel, The Seventh Man, about a cowboy who lives on a rich man's spread and the cowboy tames a wild horse he names Satan, and frees a part wolf dog he names Black Bart from a bear trap that becomes devoted to him, and the owner's daughter is in love with him, but the owner warns his daughter not to get involved, because the cowboy was an orphan the owner found when he was a boy, and he was really wild, and the owner doubts he can ever be truly "tamed"'; of course the daughter ignores her father and does get involved, and she is kidnapped by an enemy of the cowboy, and the cowboy rescues her and kills her kidnapper, and they are joined together!) starring George O'Brien, Louise Huntington, Mitchel Harris, George Brent, Nat Pendleton, and John Sheehan. Note that this movie was a remake of a 1920 Tom Mix movie, The Untamed, from the same source Max Brand novel. Also note that the horse Satan and the dog Black Bart play really major roles in the movie but they were not credited and we could find no more about them, and also whether either made any other movies. Finally, note the creator of the 2019 TV series Yellowstone clearly had either seen this movie or read the source novel, because the characters of Rip Wheeler and Beth Dutton have a massive resemblance to Nax Brand's lead characters!
