Life Begins at Eight-Thirty, the 1942 Irving Pichel family relationship father/daughter stage play acting romantic melodrama ("It's the story of a man who laughed at life... And a girl who longed for a chance for romance!"; "From a play by Emlyn Williams"; about a former Broadway star who has fallen on hard times because of his heavy drinking; he has an adult daughter who is lame because of a congenital birth defect and her mother died during childbirth; things are looking up when the daughter meets a successful playwright who falls for her, and her father gets the lead in a production of King Lear, but then things take major downturns, although everything works out in the end) starring Monty Woolley, Ida Lupino, Cornel Wilde, Sara Allgood, and Melville Cooper

Important Added Info: Note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: good to very good. There is a faint diagonal scuff running from the top of Lupino's jacket up to the left of her nose, as well as a few other faint scuffs scattered in the image. Otherwise, the card is in pretty nice condition. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back!
