Since his creation Silver Surfer has appeared in various comics, video games, and movies. AND Galactus is a character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Formerly a mortal man, Galactus is a cosmic entity who originally consumed planets to sustain his life force. Galactus was created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby and first appeared in the comic book Fantastic Four #48 in 1966. The character has been featured in other Marvel media, such as arcade games, video games, animated television series, and the 2007 film Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer.
