We think not..."; "We met on Monday. Fell in love on Tuesday. Wednesday I was unfaithful. Thursday we killed a guy together. How's that for a crazy week!"; "...Wait till you see what they do to his aunt - to the night watchman - to her mother."; "She's such a sweet girl. He's such a nice boy. They'll scare the hell out of you."; about a mentally disturbed young man who tells a pretty girl that he's a secret agent, and she believes him... But she turns out to be crazier than he is!; "Based on the novel by Stephen Geller"; "Screenplay by Lorenzo Semple, Jr.") starring Anthony Perkins, Tuesday Weld, Beverly Garland, John Randolph, and Dick O'Neill NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this teaser one-sheet has a really wild surreal artwork image (we imagine it is an attempt to get into the minds of the deranged characters who star in this movie!). It is very interesting that they would choose this image for the teaser, because the regular release style A one-sheet has an especially bland image, and while the style B is slightly better, both are photographic and not very colorful. This is certainly THE U.S. poster to get from this cult classic! What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the top two crossfolds and a 4" tear at the top center of the poster (in the top blank border). It had minor wear on the foldlines and some tears in the left border. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but at some point after it was backed, it acquired some faint brown dot stains around the edges of the poster (both in the borders of the poster and the excess linen). They are not that distracting, and they would certainly be far less noticeable if the poster is framed (and certainly, any talented restorer could touch them up without re-backing the poster).
