An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (27" x 41") (Learn More) As Good As Married, the 1937 Edward Buzzell romantic love triangle pretend marriage comedy ("An uproarious new romantic comedy success from the company that gave you 'My Man Godfrey' and 'Three Smart Girls'"; "Original Story by Norman Krasna"; about a wealthy businessman/playboy who marries his secretary solely to give him tax benefits, but of course, he ends up falling in love with her) starring Doris Nolan, John Boles, Walter Pidgeon, Alan Mowbray, Tala Birell, Katharine Alexander, Mary Philips, David Oliver, Esther Ralston, Ernest Cossart, Walter Byron, Dorothea Kent, Elsa Christian, and Harry Davenport NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good. This poster was linenbacked, and one of the following is true: either the poster had very minor defects, and was well backed, OR it had more significant defects, but they were extremely well restored, OR it had some minor defects that were not completely restored, and are somewhat noticeable. You can tell which of the above is the case for this particular poster by reading our "pre-restoration" description and also by looking at our "super-sized" image of the actual poster (we are the only major auction company we know of that gives accurate detailed pre-restoration information about linenbacked posters to our bidders, but we wish everyone did!). The poster had small paper loss at the crossfolds and a series of tiny tears with tiny paper loss down much of the vertical foldline.
