An Autographed Letter (measures 6" x 8") (Learn More) George Nader was an actor from the 1950s to the 1970s. He was one of the closeted gay homosexual actors in Hollywood in the early 1950s. He was under contract to Universal, along with Rock Hudson, and rumor has it that Confidential magazine was intending to run a story that Rock Hudson was gay, and that Mr. Nader made a deal in which he agreed to be "outed" in return for them not running the story on Mr. Hudson, which hurt his career (search the internet for more on this!). Some of his movies include: Monsoon, Carnival Story, and Beyond Atlantis. He passed away in 2002 at the age of 80. Important Added Info: Note that this item has been personally autographed (signed) by George Nader! Also note that this auction also includes the envelope this item originally came with! Note that this item was consigned to us by a man who has been a major movie memorabilia dealer for many years. During that time, he would regularly purchase collections of movie memorabilia from both collectors and people who worked on movies, and in some of those collections he purchased many autographed items, and sometimes he met with celebrities and had them autograph items he owned in person. Both we and our consignor feel it is extremely likely that the autograph on this item is authentic, but he does not have a certificate of authenticity. Condition: very good to fine.
