The poster is linenbacked; prior to restoration the poster had creases and smudges on some foldlines and tiny paper loss at the bottom crossfold; there were small tears, creases, and smudges around the edges of the poster; the poster was well linenbacked and its minor flaws were minimized during the backing process, but they can still be seen from close up; Overall, the poster was in pretty nice condition prior to backing and looks nice now!
