James P. Wharton artwork of 4 men holding flags and marching in formation. Citizens' Military Training Camps (CMTC) were military training programs of the United States which were held annually each summer from 1921 to 1940. The CMTC camps differed from National Guard and Organized Reserve training in that the program allowed male citizens to obtain basic military training without an obligation to active duty. Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster was never folded. It had slight darkening in the top edge of the top blank border and a small stain below the right of the image. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking.
