First Ladies: Early Women Filmmakers 1915-1925, the 1990s video compilation of silent film shorts and features directed by pioneering women filmmakers. The women include: Lois Weber (who directed the 1915 film Hypocrites), Cleo Madison (who directed the 1916 film Eleanor's Catch), Dorothy Davenport Reid (the widow of Wallace Reid, who after his death directed and starred in the 1925 film The Red Kimono) & Alice Guy Blache (who directed the 1916 film The Ocean Waif).
