The Devil is a Sissy, the 1936 Rowland Brown & W.S. Van Dyke New York City Manhattan juvenile rich-kid/poor-kid gang crime comedy ("The man who made 'San Francisco'"; "Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer's greatest human drama!"; about a wealthy English boy in New York City who is put in a school with gang members, and they recruit him into their gang, and he goes along because he wants to fit in) starring Freddie Bartholomew, Jackie Cooper, Mickey Rooney, Ian Hunter, Peggy Conklin, Katharine Alexander, Gene Lockhart, and Kathleen Lockhart. Note that this was the only movie in which all three great juvenile stars of the middle 1930s appeared together! Also note that Kathleen Lockhart was the wife of Gene Lockhart, and she appeared in 40 movies between 1933 and 1957, when her husband died, and she retired. She is the mother of June Lockhart.
