An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Style C Reviews One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Sam Peckinpah's Straw Dogs, the classic 1971 (released in the U.S. in 1972) Sam Peckinpah English/U.S. ultra violent rape revenge crime thriller ("Special Notice : 'Straw Dogs' unleashes such dramatic intensity that this theatre is scheduling a 5-minute interval between all performances"; "The knock at the door meant the birth of a man and the death of seven others."; based on the novel 'The Siege of Trencher's Farm' by Gordon M. Williams) starring Dustin Hoffman, Susan George ("as Amy"), Del Henney, Peter Vaughan, and T.P. McKenna. Note that this movie was VERY controversial when it first came out. Many felt that it glorified violence and that it pretty overtly implied that a man isn't a "real man" until he kills a few people! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that there are two different one-sheets for this movie, one with a full image of Dustin Hoffman's face and the other with a half image, with the other half filled with reviews. Naturally, the one with the full image of Hoffman is much more desired by collectors!
