An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Nanette Fabray was an actress from 1930s to the 1990s, often in MGM musicals. Some of her movies include: The Band Wagon, A Child is Born, The Happy Ending, and Harper Valley P.T.A. She did a great deal of TV in the 1960s and 1970s, including musical variety shows and Goodson-Toddman game shows. She also had a recurring role on TV's "Coach"! She passed away in 2018 at the age of 97. Important Added Info: Note that those of us who know Miss Fabray from her 1950s MGM movies would likely barely recognize her from this super sexy 1939 George Hurrell portrait, taken at the very start of her career! Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Nanette Fabray! Our consignor is a longtime collector who purchased this signed item from a reputable dealer, but he does not have a "certificate of authenticity". Also note that this still measures 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm]. Condition: good. There is a slightly diagonal crease along the bottom of the image. Something was laying on top of the still (likely a still with a snipe on the back), and it left a partial rectangular outline in the lower left. There are tiny brown dot stains at top center and some faint smudges and creases scattered throughout. In spite of these defects, the still displays pretty well (see our super-sized image).
