This means the poster was backed onto a paper backing (acid-free), that is similar in feel to that of the original poster (except somewhat heavier). What IS paperbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good to fine. The poster was never folded and had very minor border wear. Overall, the poster was in very good to fine condition prior to paperbacking. The poster was well backed. At some point after it was backed, it acquired small diagonal creases in the bottom left corner of the excess paper, and one tiny diagonal crease in the bottom left blank corner (but it is truthfully almost invisible).
