An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) 21 Days (released in the U.S. as "21 Days Together"), the 1940 Basil Dean English romantic crime murder thriller ("Excitingly Together!"; with a screenplay partly by Graham Greene, "Based on a story by John Galsworthy"; a man is accused of murder, and is given 21 days to prepare for his trial, and during that time he falls in love, and his girlfriend at first believes he is innocent, but as the days pass, she begins to have doubts) starring Vivien Leigh, Laurence Olivier, Leslie Banks, Francis L. Sullivan, and David Horne. Note that this film was completed in 1937 but was not released until after the success of Vivien Leigh in Gone with the Wind and Laurence Olivier in Wuthering Heights (and they had also recently divorced their respective spouses and married each other). The borders of the poster were trimmed off, slightly extending into the left and right edges of the image. There was paper loss at the top crossfold and a tear and tiny paper loss in Olivier's chin, just below his mouth. There was small paper loss at the bottom crossfold. Overall, the poster was in fair to good condition prior to linenbacking. A talented restorer did a good job recreating the missing areas, and the poster displays pretty well, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
