Circus, the circus poster encouraging people to visit a traveling circus and featuring classic circus-themed art! The Cole Bros. Circus was founded in 1884 by William Washington Cole. In the 1930s and 1940s, the circus often worked with noted animal trainer and actor Clyde Beatty (who owned his own show). In 1957, investors merged the two into the Clyde Beatty - Cole Bros. Circus and the show became a major player in the circus industry for over 20 years. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good to very good. The poster is lightly creased throughout, and there are a series of horizontal creases every few inches throughout the poster.
