The Dark at the Top of the Stairs, the 1960 Delbert Mann romantic melodrama ("Based on the play by William Inge"; "No motion picture ever lit it up so warmly!"; "If ever a motion picture blurted out the private truths that lie in the dark between girl and boy and husband and wife this is that motion picture.") starring Robert Preston, Dorothy McGuire, Eve Arden, Angela Lansbury, Shirley Knight (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), Lee Kinsolving, and Penney Parker

Condition: very good. There is a Canadian censor stamp in the poster (see below). There is minor separation at the crossfolds. There are minor creases in the foldlines and borders that aren't very noticeable or distracting. There are a couple of minor green stains i. There is a Canadian censor stamp in an unobtrusive part of the poster in the lower left.
