Bucquet hospital medical doctor crime murder mystery thriller ("A NEW chapter in America's best-loved series!") starring Lionel Barrymore (in the title role as Dr. Leonard Gillespie), Philip Dorn, Donna Reed, Phil Brown, Nat Pendleton, Alma Kruger, and Mary Nash. Note that the Dr. Kildare movies were made between 1938 and 1947, but that Lew Ayres left the series in 1942, and six more films were made WITHOUT Dr. Kildare, but WITH Dr. Gillespie (played as always by Lionel Barrymore), who became top billed in those six movies, and of course, they could not be official "Dr. Kildare movies", because the lead character was no longer at the hospital. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: UPDATED 02/03/2011: Note that a knowledgeable collector pointed out that Phil Brown is the man with the gun, Philip Dorn is the man with Barrymore and Reed while Nat Pendleton is the man with the wrench!
