An Original Vintage Theatrical 6 3/4" x 9 1/2" Movie Still (Learn More) The Court-Martial of Billy Mitchell (released in English-speaking-countries as "One Man Mutiny"), the 1956 Otto Preminger pre-World War II (WWII) military courtroom lawyer legal melodrama ("The court-martial that rocked the world!"; "All the staggering events that led a hero to risk the brand of traitor!"; "The explosive story of a fighting man who 'fought too hard' - and set off the most sensational trial in U.S. history!"; "Story and Screen Play by Milton Sperling and Emmet Lavery") starring Gary Cooper ("in his role of roles"; in the title role as Billy Mitchell; the famous real life general who tried to warn the U.S. about the imminent Japanese attack, to no avail), Charles Bickford, Ralph Bellamy, Rod Steiger, Elizabeth Montgomery, Fred Clark, and Jack Lord NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this still shows an image of the real life Billy Mitchell side-by-side with an image of Gary Cooper made up as Billy Mitchell! Also note that a paper snipe was glued to the back of the still, and then folded over to the front. This was done rather than gluing the snipe to the back, so that the snipe could be unfolded and the still could be displayed with the snipe unfolded, which would let moviegoers read the information on the snipe in the lobby (and of course, the snipe would be folded backwards, so it would not show). This was done with many stills of the 1930s, but often, the snipes are either partially or completely lost, because it is easier for them to be torn off. UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED, THE SNIPE DOES NOT HAVE ANY EFFECT ON THE FRONT OF THE STILL! Also note that this still measures 6 3/4" x 9 1/2", but it does not appear to be trimmed.
