Who couldn't see the danger Until one day, one fateful day... Along came a Tall, Dark Stranger!"; "The Man Who Bought Her...The Tall, Dark Stranger Who Sought Her!"; "When hot blooded men fight over a woman! Not even the Indians can match them for savagery!"; "A bare-fisted love feud!") starring Loretta Young ("Academy Award Winner - 1947"; in the title role as Rachel Harvey), William Holden, Robert Mitchum, Gary Gray, Tom Tully, and Frank Conlan. Note that after production of this film ended, Mitchum was arrested for smoking pot. Rather than destroy his career (as he reportedly lamented), this film was immediately released and did very well at the box office, in spite of attempts by some show business columnists to boycott all films starring Mitchum! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfold and creases and scuffs on the foldlines. It had some tiny tears in the borders. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above. Learn More about condition grades
