De La Mano was an Austrian (though he claimed to be French at times) magician and illusionist from the 1830s to the 1880s. De La Mano was the stage name of Zell Dreitzehn, who toured Europe for several decades before his first U.S. tour in 1876. He supposedly vanished while investigating psychic occurrences at a farm in Westerlo, New York during the fall of 1882. He left behind a trunk full of broadsides and posters which came to light in August of 1987 when a farmer found the trunks tucked away in a corner of his barn and contacted collector and stage magician Peter Monticup. Just hours after Monticup took the trunk from the barn, the building was struck by lightning and burned to the ground! We have no idea when Mano died. If anyone knows more about this person, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that each herald has a different image on each side, so we have pictured both sides of each herald, and the winner will receive TWO heralds.

Condition: very good.
