An Original Undated (perhaps 1947, perhaps from the first release in Italy; see below) Vintage Theatrical Folded Italian One-Panel (known in Italy as a "2 Fogli") Movie Poster (1p; measures 39" x 55" [99 x 140 cm]) (Learn More)

Songs and Bullets, the 1938 Sam Newfield singing cowboy western starring Fred Scott ("The Silvery-Voiced Buckaroo"), Al 'Fuzzy' St. John, Alice Ardell, Charles King, Carl Hackett, Frank Larue, Bud Buster, and Dick Cramer

Artist: S. Scalora
Important Added Info: Note that this is a VERY unusual poster! It has cartoon images that very much appear to be Disney characters down the left and right borders, and we have ZERO idea why those are there (unless they were shown along with the B-western). Also, it is impossible to tell WHICH one of the Fred Scott/Al 'Fuzzy' St. John westerns this is from, because the titles on the poster translate to "The Black Hawk" and "The Hawk of the West", and none of the movies they made together resemble either of those titles (we have put it under "Knight of the Plains", but this is pretty much a pure guess)! We also don't know when it was released in Italy. We would think it would not have been from 1938, but it could have been, and it seems much more likely it would be from the late 1940s or early 1950s, and probably the first Italian release (there is a stamp at the bottom that includes "5 7 47", and that could certainly indicate a 1947 date). If anyone knows more about any of this, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Condition: very good.
