Goodbye, Mr. Chips, the 1939 Sam Wood (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film) teacher romantic melodrama ("'The best picture of any year'"; nominated for the Best Picture Academy Award; about the career of a wonderful English public school teacher who devotes his life to his pupils) starring Robert Donat (winner of the Best Actor Academy Award for this film; in the title role as Mr. Chips), Greer Garson (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film; in her first movie role!), Terry Kilburn, Paul Henreid, and Judith Furse

Condition: good to very good. The card pictured at bottom has creases, defects, areas of paper loss and tears of varying lengths along parts of some edges and some amateur restoration was performed. The other card has a tiny tear in the lower left corner that has been repaired with tape from the back but it is in much nicer condition.
