An Unfolded Travel Poster (measures 22 3/4" x 37 3/4" [58 x 96 cm]) (Learn More) TWA: Paris, the 1960s airplane airline aviation travel poster promoting tourism to Paris, France aboard TWA (Trans World Airlines) and featuring art of the Eiffel Tower surrounded by fireworks by David Klein. Note that there are three different versions of this poster, the first one is from 1962, and the others from later in the 1960s (there is one from 1967 that has a tagline, "Up, Up and Away" in the lower right, but the ad agency TWA used did not get the rights to that lyric from the Fifth Dimension song, and they were sued!). Artist: David Klein Important Added Info: Note that this poster has been trimmed and it now measures 22 3/4" x 37 3/4" [58 x 96 cm]. Condition: good. Approximately 1 1/2" has been unevenly cut (trimmed) from each edge of the poster (somewhat more along the left edge and somewhat less along the right). There is a 4" tear in the left of the top edge of the poster and there are areas of tattering and surface paper loss around the edges. There are tape stains scattered throughout the back of the poster but they do not appear to have any effect on the front. The poster is otherwise in generally nice condition and after linenbacking and proper restoration it will display well! Learn More about condition grades
